Well worth a visit it's a pity I didn't have more time to go round the whole museum. I enjoyed what I saw especially the section about The Corries and one of their guitars on display
Fabulous insight in to the world of old explorers. Such a shame it's under threat from closure by Moray Council.
The moment I entered the place I felt overwhelmed by what I considered to be a mini homage to Kelvingrove's centre point of their building (yes it was that well done and laid out!) Plenty of historical packed into a building whose size betrays it's depth of knowledge local and national! Completely impressed by it. I sincerely hope that it is funded accordingly!
Lovely museum ! A lot to see, nice signs explaining what is on display and telling you more about a certain subject. Such a shame I only got to spend an hour there... I will definitely come back, with more time on my hands, and have a proper look at the first floor.Only one member of staff was present when I came. He was very kind to me, and genuinely wanted me to make the most of my visit - thank you so much !
