Have to pay for parking here. Good car park and well maintained. Worth payed for the car parking very well maintained woods.

Great place for walking dont get lost and take refreshments as no where near by to get a drink. Beautiful walks and wildlife
2 parking for the day. Easy to follow routes around the forrest. Good footpaths. Toilets available in the car park. No poo bins for dogs walking around so you may need to carry this about. They are available at the car park.
My wife and 9 year old son went out for a drive and ended up at Culbin forest .The park ranger was very helpful and the walk nice and gentle , there was other walks which were longer and I noticed a few mountain bikers and also dog owners .Our son was taken with the frogs in the Gravel pit pond as they were mating and close to the waters edge and also a few on the pathway .The walk was very well kept and lovely and peaceful , oh and the sun was out and nice and hot whilst we had our picnic .It was lovely to see our son running about getting a dose of fresh air instead of playing his xbox .
