This was an anniversary dinner well presented would go again

We were recommended to go here for our Anniversary meal. Sadly not a great experience. We were sat at a table of 4 (booth) right opposite the kitchen and next to the entrance. The kitchen staff were obviously stressed this evening as staff were in and out every couple of minutes with some sent out for more supplies. Our meal took approx 35 mins to arrive we ordered promptly on arrival. Whilst the meals were filling they were nothing spectacular. I was really disappointed as we had such high hopes and for the price of a two main dishes one side and 2 drinks costing nearly 50 it wasn't worth it. Sadly i won't be recommending this place for an evening meal. However i have been told it is a great venue for lunches...
I really enjoy this restaurant. Polite, pleasant staff. Great food and comfortable surroundings. Reasonably priced.
