Great place for a wee break.Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and very welcoming .Great home cooked food, and the largest selection of gin I've ever seen!Room was clean, cosy, had the best sleep ever - maybe it was the comfy bed / sea air or gin????We will be back.Thanks for a great stay.
Fantastic pub, the food is excellent, my top favorites were the haddock, the haggis and pork sausages, and the Lasagna. Literally everyone in my vacation group had the lasagna. Even the quality of the bartending is far superior to anything in the states, there's care in every pour and there's an entire separate bar with every scotch imaginable. If you're around Inverness definitely give this place a visit
Beautiful old world pub, sporting a wood burning fire and the best food I've had in a pub in the area for a long time. Barman was a little grumpy, but I guess I would be working over the holidays.
Another excellent meal this evening at the Crown and Anchor. This time I had scallops with an tasty salad - they were very good and cooked just right. It's pretty crowded at this time of year but well worth booking a table.
Ate in restaurant while staying at nearby BnB. Menu with daily specials. Order and pay at the bar with table service (remember your table number). Food arrived quickly (fish and chips) and was tasty with friendly service. Reasonably priced. Lots of locals seem to eat here as well... Always a good sign. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
