Great location, lovely little pub with a fire and dog friendly. A shame about the soggy batter on the fish (the last 3 visits). Our friends have also mentioned this. This will be the last time we visit The Kimberley Inn as our friends we took with us were also disappointed. It used to be nice and crispy and it was our favorite place for fish and chips, maybe they have changed the chef.
The Kimberley Inn was a terrific welcome on a blustery December day. There is a large wood burning fire in the bar, which instantly made a very cosy and relaxing pause in the day. The menu is limited but good. A little pricey for pub food but I thought it was worth it. Cooked to a decent standard and proudly using local ingredients. The interior is contemporary and well spaced for seating on two levels. Not especially kitted out for wheel chairs but this is an old building. A small selection of beers on tap. My personal annoyance was the acceptance of dogs into a pub that serves food. In the short space I was there to eat, 6 large dogs had come in with different owners. If you serve food, keep dogs outside.

Lovely little place next to the shore line. The fish is as fresh as can be and quite tasty. Table service was fast and friendly. There is also a bar to compliment your dining. This is a favorite with the locals so if you're looking for a genuine Scottish experience then you'll want to make this place a must see.
